It is with great pleasure that we announce Prof. Hai Zhao, Northeastern University, China, as the Founding Editor-in-Chief for IECE Transactions on Networks (TN). We believe Prof. Zhao will lead TN forward with inspiration and rigor in the community of networks.
Prof. Hai Zhao received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Dalian Maritime University, Dalian, China, in 1982, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from Northeastern University, Shenyang, China, in 1987 and 1995, respectively. He is currently a Professor with the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Northeastern University. He is also the Director of the Liaoning Provincial Key Laboratory of Embedded Technology. His current research interests include embedded internet technology, wireless sensor networks, vehicular ad hoc networks, body area networks, pervasive computing, operating systems, data and information fusion, computer simulation, and virtual reality.
We firmly believe that under the scientific leadership of Prof. Zhao, TN will promote the rapid progress of networks research.
