Plagiarism Screening
The IECE uses the Crossref Similarity Check plagiarism screening service to detect instances of overlapping and similar text in submitted manuscripts.

Plagiarism is defined by the IECE as the reuse of previous ideas, processes, results or texts of others without clear credit to the original author and source. Unauthorised use of unpublished data or findings of other researchers is considered a form of plagiarism, even if the source is acknowledged. The IECE considers plagiarism in any form, at any level, to be unacceptable and a serious breach of professional conduct.
