Aims & Scope
IECE Transactions on Information Fusion is a peer-reviewed international journal dedicated to advancing the theory, methodologies, and applications of information fusion. The journal aims to provide a comprehensive forum for researchers, practitioners, and industry experts to share cutting-edge developments in integrating data, information, and knowledge from diverse sources to improve decision-making, optimize performance, and enhance system reliability across various domains.
The journal publishes original research articles, review papers, and technical notes in a wide range of topics, including but not limited to:
1. Foundations and Theories of Information Fusion:
• Probability theory, Bayesian inference, fuzzy logic, and statistical modeling for fusion systems.
2. Algorithms and Techniques:
• Machine learning, deep learning, and AI-driven approaches for fusion; signal processing and feature extraction; distributed and decentralized fusion systems.
3. Data Integration:
• Multi-sensor and multi-modal data fusion, big data integration, spatiotemporal data processing, and uncertainty modeling.
4. System Design and Applications:
• Fusion systems for robotics, autonomous vehicles, defense and security, healthcare, environmental monitoring, and smart cities.
5. Emerging Technologies:
• Real-time fusion, edge computing, Internet of Things (IoT)-based fusion, quantum fusion, and human-computer interaction in fusion systems.
The journal emphasizes both theoretical advances and practical applications, bridging the gap between academia and industry. By fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and encouraging submissions from diverse fields, IECE Transactions on Information Fusion seeks to drive innovation and inspire the future of information fusion research and applications.
