Aims & Scope
The Journal of Molecular Cardiology and Genomics aims to advance the understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying cardiovascular diseases and their genetic determinants. This interdisciplinary journal publishes cutting-edge research at the intersection of molecular cardiology, genomics, and systems biology, focusing on novel insights into heart disease pathophysiology, molecular biomarkers, therapeutic targets, and genetic predispositions.
The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to:
• Molecular Mechanisms in Cardiovascular Disease: Research on the cellular and molecular processes involved in heart failure, arrhythmias, myocardial infarction, ischemic heart disease, cardiomyopathies, and atherosclerosis.
• Genomics and Heart Disease: Studies exploring the genetic basis of cardiovascular diseases, gene-environment interactions, and the role of genetic mutations, polymorphisms, and epigenetics in heart health.
• Cardiovascular Biomarkers: Identification and validation of novel biomarkers for early diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, including genetic, proteomic, and metabolomic approaches.
• Advances in Cardiovascular Genetics: Exploration of genetic epidemiology, genetic sequencing technologies, and CRISPR-Cas9 applications in cardiovascular genetics and gene therapy.
• Molecular Imaging and Targeted Therapy: Innovative techniques for imaging molecular pathways and the development of targeted molecular therapies for cardiovascular conditions.
• Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine in Cardiology: The role of stem cells, tissue engineering, and regenerative medicine approaches in the repair and regeneration of heart tissue.
• Bioinformatics and Computational Modeling: Computational approaches to understanding complex molecular networks, predictive modeling in cardiovascular genomics, and systems biology applied to cardiology.
The journal welcomes original research articles, reviews, commentaries, and perspectives that provide new insights into molecular cardiology and genomics, as well as translational research that bridges laboratory discoveries with clinical applications in cardiovascular medicine.

Ethics Statement
IECE is responsible for implementing rigorous peer review and strict ethical policies and standards to ensure that high quality scientific work is added to the field of scholarly publishing. IECE takes such publishing ethics issues very seriously, and our editors are trained to enforce COPE's Core Practices and Guidelines, with a zero-tolerance policy for plagiarism, data falsification, and other behaviours. To verify the originality of content submitted to our journals, we use iThenticate to check submissions against previous publications.
